Darling, I have to tell you something, there's a reason why you are here. My darling, it has taken my whole life to find you and I never want to let you go You are my earth, my sun and my wind and you complete me. And you make fun of me, which is one of the many things I love about you.. I will protect you, look after you and make sure we have a good future together so I would like for you to do me the honor of being my wife.. Chinese chant... Mrs Uncle Pete: "Hmmmm, I need to think about that" Subtitle - she agreed

Being a nerdboy, I live in hope that one day linux will rule.. and I sure it will happen one day, but I can see why it has issues today. Decided to try out new version of Ubuntu.. Now I love the interface, it's great and very mac like, but the whole install process and my first task of the day soured things.. - Item 1 - Install. Went ok once I initiated the install manually from within the trial environment. I don't have freaky hardware, so I'm not sure why this happened, but after that - all good.
- Item 2 - Install Chrome.. Simple and easy.. good
- Item 3 - Look at some videos on Youtube using Chrome
Fail.. Tried installing plugin as instructed, returns with cryptic message.. start tralling interwebs, find some articles, get it working..
HOW?
First install plugin using terminal sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
Next, create a symbolic a link in Chrome App folder (in opt/google/chrome for my install) to the flash plugin library (/usr/lib/flashplugin-installer/libflashplayer.so) sudo ln -s /usr/lib/flashplugin-installer/libflashplayer.so
So the dream of the linux for everyone has a little way to go yet! |

At the request of JT, I've put a link to the Jamendo site where I picked up our theme music for the podcast. Show your support by having a listen to the whole album..
